Job Summary:

The position involves various essential functions and responsibilities, including:

1. Performing manual and computerized inventory control.
2. Routing goods to the appropriate storage areas.
3. Packing goods to be shipped and unpacking goods upon receipt.
4. Overseeing the loading and unloading of goods.
5. Managing the rotation of stock.
6. Carrying out any other duties related to the job.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the position, the following qualifications are desired:

1. Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs (22.7kg). This requirement is necessary as the job may involve handling and moving heavy items.
2. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Effective communication is important for coordinating with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
3. Organizational skills. Being well-organized helps in maintaining accurate inventory records, arranging goods in storage areas, and ensuring efficient workflow.
4. Ability to handle pressure. The job may involve fast-paced environments, time-sensitive tasks, and unexpected challenges. The ability to remain composed and perform well under pressure is valuable.
5. Knowledge of food products.
