Job Summary:

The role involves preparing food in compliance with relevant federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations, following established policies and procedures. The primary focus is to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions, ensuring adherence to production, delivery, and service schedules.
2. Serve meals or prepare them for delivery, following correct portioning guidelines and meeting outlined standards. Ensure that food is at the correct temperature, attractive, and flavorful. Taste all prepared food items.
3. Follow established ticket collection procedures during service and maintain accurate records of the area worked during service periods.
4. Clean the kitchen after food preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
5. Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, following proper food and supply storage standards.
6. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
7. Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required.
8. Support the ordering and receiving process for all food and supplies as needed.
9. Report any needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
10. Attend in-service and safety meetings.
11. Foster positive working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
12. Perform job duties safely while maintaining a clean and secure work environment.
13. Perform any other duties as assigned.
